Feminism

I wonder if feminism is dead, or still alive and well? Are women really getting the respect they are due from men(and even other women sometimes)? Do all women make their own decisions or do they still defer to their husbands or boyfriends? I think that not to be able to make up your own mind leads to a low self-esteem problem. I would like to see all females living their lives with confidence in who they are. "Live your life-be yourself. You are unique!
